SmackDown Results 01/03/14

SmackDown results from Washington, DC:

The Uso Brothers defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns due to disqualification. Late in this one, Jimmy hit clotheslines and back elbow strikes on both Reigns and Rollins, before hitting a Samoan Drop on Rollins.  From there, Rollins went to the outside.  Jimmy hit an enziguiri kick on Reigns.  The Usos went for a double suicide dive, but Ambrose grabbed Jimmy's leg from outside the ring, causing the DQ.  Post-match, all of The Shield started a beatdown on The Usos.  CM Punk charged down to the ring to make a save.  Later, Vickie Guerrero came out on stage and announced that CM Punk and The Usos will face The Shield in a six-man tag match for the main event.

R-Truth defeated Fandango via pinfall.  Xavier Woods was ringside.  At one point in the match, Woods got up on the commentary table, then called for The Funkadactyls.  They came out and started to dance, which distracted Fandango, allowing Truth to hit the What's Up to get the win.

Goldust & Cody Rhodes defeated Erick Rowan and Luke Harper via pinfall to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. Harper was in control of Rhodes late after a big boot as the heels kept beating him up and isolating him from a tag to Goldust.  Harper sat Rhodes on the corner turnbuckle and beat on him, but Cody managed to bump Harper off and then hit a moonsault to take him down.  Rhodes was able to go for the tag, but Rowan grabbed Rhodes and whipped him against the ropes.  As he hit the opposite ropes, Goldust made the blind tag to his back.  Cody got backdropped and Goldust ran Rowan into the ropes then rolled him up for the pinfall.

Nikki Bella defeated Aksana via pinfall. Late in the match, Aksana gained control and beat up Nikki in the corner, but on a charging move, Nikki moved away.  After Aksana hit the corner turnbuckle, Nikki grabbed Aksana and put her in the rack to drop her for the pinfall.

Big E Langston defeated Curtis Axel via pinfall in a non-title matchup.  Axel had control late in the match with an arm hold on the mat to wear Langston down some. Big E eventually got to his feet and was able to power up Axel and hit a backdrop to break free.  Langston followed with multiple clotheslines and a belly-to-belly suplex before hitting a big splash on Axel's back.  Langston went for a move with Axel on his shoulders, but Axel grabbed the ropes to free himself and get to the apron.  He yanked Langston's neck against the top rope, but got smashed down when he got back in the ring.  Langston lowered his straps then hit The Big Ending for the win.

CM Punk & The Uso Brothers defeated The Shield via pinfall in a six-man tag match.  Late in the match, Punk was able to hit a move on Ambrose and had a near fall.  As Ambrose staggered to his feet, Reigns yelled at him to make a tag but he didn't.  Punk went for the GTS on Ambrose, but Reigns tried to run in for the spear.  Punk dropped Ambrose on his feet into Reigns' path.  Reigns pushed Ambrose out of the way and went at Punk only to get kicked in the face.  The Usos got back in the ring and hit a double Superkick on Reigns, then sent Rollins out of the ring with Reigns.  They did a running dive over the top rope onto Reigns and Rollins.  In the ring, Punk grabbed Ambrose and hit the GTS for the win.  Post-match, the commentators reviewed the tension between The Shield members throughout the match allowing the faces to win.  Cole questioned, "Are there problems in The Shield?" as The Usos and Punk celebrated in the ring.

Post-match, The Wyatt video glitch noise went off and the arena went dark.  Bray Wyatt was shown sitting in his rocking chair.  He called the human race a "bacteria that destroys."  He said "he [Bryan] needed him and was lost."  Bray said "he now has a home and your words mean nothing to him now.  He only hears my truth."
